It’s funny. When people realize you’re improving and you’re coming into your own, that’s when they come back into your life. It’s like, before then, they underestimated you. Didn’t quite consider you. Said to themselves, “I can have that whenever I want to.” Once you take down the for sale sign and move into who you are, that’s when they come back. Why? Because they realize you will no longer be an option in their life. They want to test you one last time. You know how you hold on to people, not because they’re good for you, but because they’re comfortable and they’re there. When you do that, you prove to them, your lack of self sustenance. And in the past, because you were so weak, they were able to manipulate you and keep you around, or you kept them around even if they held no value in your life. I’ve done it. I’ve kept people around because I was bored and I liked that empty company. I didn’t have to invest in them and they didn’t have to invest in me. It’s an immature concept, but I was young then. I guess what I’m really saying is—to all the people that are trying, have tried and will continue to come back into my life because they recognize my worth, my beauty, my perfection—get the f*&k out of my face! *drops the mic*
